For plugin authors

Publish a plugin.

Keep the plugin in your own public repository. Publish a versioned package, then submit its exact release and hash to the qrate catalog.

Release path

  1. Create a repository from the qrate plugin template.
  2. Choose a stable distribution ID and complete qrate-plugin.json.
  3. Develop and test the plugin as an unmanaged folder in qrate.
  4. Run the template package check.
  5. Tag a version that matches the package manifest.
  6. Check the ZIP and checksum attached to the GitHub Release.
  7. Open a registry pull request for that exact release.

What review checks

Registry checks validate the package layout, manifest, API version, permissions, byte size, and SHA-256. Maintainers also review the source, license, publisher identity, and release notes. A listing identifies reviewed release bytes. It does not certify all plugin behavior.

Issues and pull requests

Open a listing-request issue if you need packaging help. Open a pull request when the release is ready. Only a merged pull request can add a package to the catalog.
